Helping young people and families connect through the gift of communication.
Hi, I’m Jacqui, a registered Speech Language Therapist supporting children from early childhood to early adolescence in their homes, preschools, and schools.

Wondering if your child needs support?
You know your child best. If any of these sound familiar, a quick chat could be helpful to decide on next steps, with no pressure.

They are not saying as many words as children their age.

They seem to avoid or seek different sensory experiences.

They seem to have more behavioral challenges than their peers.

They seem to really struggle with changes to their routines.

Their speech is difficult to understand even for family.

They have words but struggle to connect with others.

How I can help
Every child is different, so therapy is shaped around your child’s unique strengths, interests and needs.
Play -based early intervention
For little ones who are late to talk or communicate. We learn through play and you are equipped with simple strategies to support at home.
Social communication
Helping children connect, start interactions, take turns and build trusting relationships using neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
Sensory regulation
Helping parents understand your child’s sensory needs so you can adapt your environment to support them.
Emotional regulation
Helping parents build the words and tools children need to understand and manage big feelings.
Speech sounds
Supporting children who struggle with saying their speech sounds clearly.
Executive functioning
Support with thinking, planning, organizing and following through so that everyday responsibilities can be more manageable.
My approach
Developmental + strengths-based
Therapy builds starts where your child is at developmentally, not what others expect for their age. I start by connecting with your child on what they already love doing, so sessions are fun, whilst challenging at the right level.
Coaching for parents + teachers
The best progress happens with consistent practice outside of therapy sessions. I’ll coach you on how to use these strategies in your everyday life.
Neurodiversity-affirming + trauma-informed
Evidence-based support that respects your child’s unique profile, your family dynamics, life situation and values.
